The story of my balloon
The Fall of 2000, I was finding out prices and specs on model balloons. I was talking to my good friend Bernard about buying a balloon from him. We would e-mail each-other back and forth about r/c balloons. I was asking him about buying a quick build kit for a balloon and he asked if I would be interested in using his scrap peices of nylon to build a balloon. I of course jumped at the chance and very soon after that I was on my way to building my first balloon. It took me about a month to build the balloon its self. I ordered my basket from BallonSport Bolling in Germany. After seeing my balloon inflated I named it "Piece of Scrap" since it was made of scrap pieces of nylon. I thank you very much Bernard for all that you have done for me!! And thanks to all others who helped me!
